**Palmer Raids is a privately coupled artist duo founded in 2011 and based in Berlin. One part of the duo was born in Toronto and grew up in Berlin. The other part comes from a town near the Dutch border. Both parts share their common passion for music and mixing. They were influenced in their music by many styles. The one by punk, electro and hiphop. The other part comes from classical music, found love in indie, house, jazz and hiphop / rap. The music styles that are on the mixtapes of palmer raids range from electronic beats to hip hop. But hiphop is their "favorite child", whom they cultivate with passion and creative devotion. The genre ranges from instrumental-, jazzy- , abstract hiphop to old classics, their constant companonions.
