This mutant offshoot of "Race to The Edit" . . this looping hypno-reprise . . it may only sound repetitive if one has it playing off to the side. But the more you get into it, the more you'll really get into it ! . . . . well, I sure did !

04:21 - "hallowed ground #3" -- "The Car" ( 1977 )

Alright, so in this swarm of roaring engines revving by, this sample is
the first making it's debut within the piece . . and it's a window into the
creative evolution that can occur !
I was nearly complete with the tweaking and the overall "what branch still
needs an ornament ?" process over the past few days, when I saw I had
Billy Joel's "cadillac-ac-ac-ac" still in the folder, overlooked till then.
"Ah well . . . prob'ly won't fit in anyweigh, but let's just see, huh ? "
I loved it so much that, after sneaking-back and establishing it earlier,
it now also anchors a section that didn't even exist when the piece
was 6 minutes and 4 seconds long !

At 4:50, a crazed car congo-line begins that now takes the whole overall
thing to 6:40 now, & also gave me somewhere to use "I found a driver" from
"Drive My Car", and a day later . . gave birth to it's spin-off -- "Race to
The Reprise" !
So . . as this new section went from extending the original to bustin' out
on it's own demented dancey groove reprise, I happened to come across a
copy of the 1977 film, "The Car". I'd never seen it, but I learned that the
demon-car was the one that Bender's Werecar from "The Honking" was
modeled on ! I created an audio aiff of the film and watched it while I
could edit-up any worthy samples I might find.
I found 27 . . . and the reprise version of this piece now features, on top of
many characters from it's mother-piece, it's own unique cast as well !
