yeah, yeah . . I heard the instrumental for Pharrell William's "Happy",
and my mashitating brain heard "I Saw Her Standing There" . . same ol' story, right ?

I love taking a vocal, following the originally sung sequence . . for a bit !! . . and then laying it out into new phrases that play like Paul just might've sing it that way !

Lines like the very last one --- "I'll never dance thru the night" !

After the second "boom-break", at 3:02, we get the heart of the story on this one.
Up till then it's been a tale told by some guy at a bar after midnight:
Telling his pals how he'd met this hot babe on the dancefloor, they hooked up . . . . . . . man, they shacked up !
