Give Peace a Chance ...
The dreadful pictures of Aleppo in the news and the stories from the second world war of our grandparents have brought me to the point of composing a song that should remind us how everyday life can turn into a nightmare.

Everyone wants to enjoy a life in peace, but the politics, religion, racism and also the economy unfortunately drive the people again and again back to war.

The song describes an everyday scene. Cheerful people in the streets, then the air raid and the bomb attack. Afterwards silence and only the sirens of the ambulance can be heard.

So it could happen here in Europe a few decades ago, so it still happens daily in Syria. They only wanted to live in peace ...
