Is this one a march or a jig ? I forgot so I play both ways. I think it's better as a jig the second half. I like relearning tunes because chances are good that the tune becomes something different from my original playing.

A little you tube research indicates this is a morris dance and should be played as a reel or hornpipe. After watching the documentary below I am a bit concerned about the dangers of playing this one properly. see: youtube.com/watch?v=s7OFiZDhWSE Hopefully my playing is suitably distant from the traditional version to avoid any damage to society.
