In My Life (The Beatles) - A cover song from the 60s

"In My Life" is a song by the Beatles released on the 1965 album Rubber Soul, written mainly by John Lennon and credited to Lennon–McCartney. The song originated with John Lennon, but Paul McCartney and Lennon later disagreed over the extent of their respective contribution to that song, specifically the melody. George Martin contributed the piano solo bridge. It is ranked 23rd on Rolling Stone's "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" as well as fifth on their list of the Beatles' 100 Greatest Songs.

I heard this song after a long time again during a vacation in Mexico in a small bar and was immediately enthusiastic again. In this version I have sung all the main and choir parts.

In My Life (englisch "In meinem Leben") ist ein Lied der britischen Rockband The Beatles. Es wurde erstmals am 3. Dezember 1965 auf dem Album Rubber Soul veröffentlicht. Die Autoren des Stücks sind John Lennon und Paul McCartney unter deren gemeinsamen Copyright Lennon/McCartney. Die Idee zu dem Lied war John Lennon bereits im Alter von 15 Jahren gekommen, als er mit einem Bus durch seine Heimatgegend gefahren war. Das Lied ist geprägt von einem Klavier-Solo, das vom Beatles-Produzenten George Martin gespielt wurde. Da George Martin das Solo nicht in dem schnellen Tempo spielen konnte, wurde es mit halber Geschwindigkeit aufgenommen und danach wieder beschleunigt.

Ich hörte diesen Song nach langer Zeit wieder während eines Urlaubs im Mexico in einer kleinen Bar und war sofort wieder begeistert. In dieser Version habe ich alle Haupt- und Chorstimmen eingesungen.
