For this piece, I took a while to listen to Toby's midi piano playing just to get a sense of what he was imagining. The image I got was a massive scape where he is simply exploring. It's deep, and it could be dangerous. But, it is still captivating - like space. Using electronic and acoustic instruments, I wanted to create a experience that capitalized on this idea as well as the eccentricities of Debussy's music. This is Debussy's Galactic Gait.
