Mr. Kri (Christopher van Niekerk) is a multi award winning Mix Engineer, Producer and Composer based in Berlin, Germany. He began his career gaining commercial success internationally in radio, film and TV as a recording artist, band member and writer for the UK band Livingston. There he developed his craft as a mix engineer / producer working with, and learning from legendary producers namely Steve Lyon (Depeche Mode, The Cure) , David Bottrill (Muse, Tool), Al Clay (Stereophonics, P!NK) and Roland Spremberg (A-Ha, Hans Zimmer) to name a few. Mr. Kri’s passion for working with artists stems from having been one himself which gives him a strong insight into the creative experience from the artist’s point of view. Above all else he is in love with music, discovering and working with new artists, finding the uniqueness and details in their sound and then the process of bringing the best out of it.
