Mister F

Growing up in our house I was exposed to different genres of music, my mum was into soul and reggae, my dad liked his soft rock and my older brother was into heavy metal (proper mixed bag). I started DJ'ing back in 89 in a local pub in Peckham playing soul, house and hip house tunes, from there I moved more into the house scene but at home i still continued to play soul and reggae. Later on in life I went into the house and garage scene which was an exciting time as I also tried to move into the promotion side by organising house and garage nights in London with a friend (DJ Pain) under the banner of Joker Promotions. We were residents at a number venues: Brodies (Canary Wharf), Deacons (City of London), Hobgoblin (Forest Hill) playing everything from soul to Jungle. During this musical journey I also create music but no number 1's as yet. I have grown a massive love for most genres of music particularly reggae, there is something about this genre that makes me smile.
