In 2009 Future Classic hadn't yet discovered Flume, and they were throwing parties that explored German techno and other related sounds that suited me perfectly. They were clever enough to have Beck's beer as a sponsor though, hence the title of this mix.

I still listen to this mix for pleasure, and I think it sits alongside those for Honkytonks and Sunny as one of my best on record.
