Born Ray A. Gonzalez in the Bronx, NY., at a young age DJ RAY LOVE was already selling mix tapes and performing at parties, and word of his skills spread quickly. It wasn’t long before he was working in NYC night clubs, including the legendary Palladium.
1991: DJ RAY LOVE landed in the Hudson Valley area of New York an hour outside of Manhattan NY, this included a five year stint at Area 51 in Monticello NY. on Saturday nights. He performed at many other clubs throughout Westchester County and NYC.
1995: DJ RAY LOVE deejayed for one of the biggest venues in the Tri-State area - the “The Orange County Fairgrounds.” performing in front of 6,000 fans. He was honored to perform alongside Tito Nieves & The Blackout Stars, Ghost Town DJs, Robin S,
1996: RAY LOVE and LiL G Promotions teamed up once again and joined forces to perform with some of the greatest rappers of all time: Jay Z, Akynele & A+. DJ RAY LOVE also performed at shows with Junior Mafia, Lost Boyz, Lil Kim, Bush Babies, DJ Kool, Memphis Bleek, Blackstreet.
1998: DJ RAY LOVE became the Mixshow DJ for the biggest radio station in the Hudson Valley, K104.7 FM. It wasn’t long before he was performing K104’s “Saturday Night Live Dance Party”, transmitted live from the clubs (Joe’s, Front Street, 28 West, Thirsty Turtle, and many more). By this point DJ RAY LOVE’s partnership with K104 rocketed the radio station to the top, helping to make it the Number 1 Mixshow.
2002: DJ RAY LOVE performed live before 10,000 people at “KFest”, which is an annual concert put on by K104 at Dutchess Stadium.
2005: DJ RAY LOVE felt a desire to explore the party scene outside New York. He traveled frequently to Florida and visited the best clubs in various cities. Before long he became the Mixshow DJ for XL106.7 FM in Orlando. His mixing prowess landed him gigs at many clubs in the Orlando area, including Club Firestone, Club Tabu, Club Paris, & others. When not in the studio, DJ RAY LOVE can be found spinning the tables at locations across the United States, ranging from Middletown, NY, to Miami FL. His excellent skills have been witnessed at clubs like the Blue Martini and the Empty Bottle in Middletown NY, to Club Kongs in Pitts- burgh, The Lax in Las Vegas, and Club Bed and Soho Lounge in South Beach. Ray Loves reputation has become international – he has played in Japan and will be traveling to the U.K. in 2015.
