ME Records, the young label from East Germany, is concentrating on the basics: just the sound. Not more, and not less.
ME Records gives music an own space, worth to get absorbed. Club music which does not want to get categorized but take effect at the core of the listener.
Functional house music, not keeping up high speed trains, but with lots of time for itself. To get directly in the marrow of our bones.
ME Records wants to put the artist into the spotlight. Without big names, requirements and compromises. ME Records let the music speak.

The founders of ME Records, the DJs Mirko Wendt and Sven Göpfert, have been playing lots of music. As producers, DJs and event managers, they know that the pulse beats the strongest. They want to focus on the basics: functional house music. In all its facets. Not more.
