Producer/Vocalist and Dj of afro house/afro tech. Maniq Zar fell in love with music at age 11. Inspired by family members who then formed a gospel group, At age 16 was introduced to local upcoming kwaito artist while attending high school. 6 years later was introduced to turn tables by a colleague and visiting vinyl records shops, after buying his own turn tables and few vinyls He introduced him self at a popular local club and was given a chance as a resident Dj, later his sister assisted and was able to afford a mini recording studio and started making music till this date.
