DJ Kid & MC Gavzie Featuring Finlay Quaye - Live @ Manga - February 7th 1997

This is the first known live recording from Manga at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh featuring resident and co-promoter DJ Kid alongside MC Gavzie who was regarded as one of the best MC’s in the Scottish rave scene.

The recording also features a certain Finley Quaye who won the 1997 Mobo Award for best Reggae act, and the 1998 BRIT Award for Best Male Solo Artist was the original resident MC at Manga alongside Frosty.

Manga was pivotal in the building of the Scottish Drum & Bass scene and presented a broad range of artists from all over the world, while championing every aspect of the sound
