Magnus Johanson is a well experienced and future orientated international pro DJ, radio programmer and an upcoming producer. British American, half Swedish from mother’s side and was born in Geneva. He grew up in Brighton and he has previously worked within the music industry in London for major/independent label/publishing companies. Currently, he has DJ residencies for his ‘Ignite Sessions’ radio show at Power FM and also ‘Ignite Sessions Nights’. He has performed for international radio stations and venues in Europe and USA.

In Sept 2013, he relocated to live and work in Munich with the aim to establish himself as one of the top players within the growing Munich’s music/club scenes and beyond in Europe and USA. Continuing to develop his sound and the ‘Ignite Sessions’ brand: ‘Ignite Sessions’ (formerly known as 'Ignite Dance Sessions') radio show and ‘Ignite Sessions Nights’ club night event and also coming later with plans for a production label and a new website.

His musicianship is even more amazing when you know and realise that he was born with congenital deafness in both ears from birth, due to rubella caught by his pregnant mother. To defy the odds, he managed to DJ with his only one functioning right ear to pursue his dream of becoming a professional DJ that he is today. His goal is to further his international DJ career by continuing to develop his DJ and production sounds bringing and performing his unique style blend mesh of deep-/ tech-/ funk-house, techno-/ and tech-funk-breaks... plus hard house for harder generation/nights to audiences worldwide.

• Resident radio DJ/programmer for his ‘Ignite Dance Sessions’ radio show at WSLR 96.5 LPFM from 2008 to 2013, Louder FM from Dec 2015 to Dec 2017 & now currently runs his 'Ignite Sessions' radio show at Power FM, Dublin, Ireland from Jan 2018 to present day to an international audience.

• Performed on international radio stations at The Womb/Miami, Coast FM/Spain, Del Amore Global Radio Show/Sri Lanka, WSLR 96.5 LPFM/Florida, Louder FM/Munich and now at Power FM, Dublin, Ireland.

• Performed at many venues in USA and Europe and resident DJ for ‘Ignite Sessions Nights'.

• Worked within the London Music Industry for both several Indie and Major Labels with the likes of Mushroom Records (UK) who managed and develop international acts like Garbage, Virgin Records (UK), EMI, and Sanctuary Group that included Sanctuary Records and Sanctuary Music Management who managed one top international band icons, Iron Maiden.

• DJ Assistant Manager for DJ Jon Bishop, one of the top international Hard House DJ / Artist from California, USA during his rising U.K. DJ Profile entry into the U.K. Electronic Dance Scene.
