Tarik Omar is a musician, producer, curator, and DJ based in the United Arab Emirates. His DJ sets are known for floating between house, funk, disco, techno, all while diving into African Boogie and rare Brazillian synth jams. He uses his live sets to explore processes, technology, and workflows to create extemporaneous music. Tarik’s shows range from vinyl selector sessions, to fully live improvised electronic shows with synthesizers and drum machines. He also plays a club focused hybrid show that blends DJing with live elements.
