As a DJ, LSD-J sets himself apart from the rest with mixing skills guaranteed to leave the crowd asking for more. A good ear for music and a wide selection of fresh hip hop and classic old school have kept him on the decks since the age of 16. Proving time and again that he can fluidly change between different genres, he has earned a name as one of the most versatile and unique hip hop DJs with his portfolio including everything from EDM, deep house, future house and trap.

His talent secured him a spot as the resident at Jade Lounge, one of the "World's Finest Clubs" in Cape Town, where he has been active in the role for the past 9 years. LSD-J's style and forward thinking musical abilities have been instrumental in earning Jade Lounge a reputation as one of Cape Town’s hottest spots for hip hop. Parallel to his residency at Jade Lounge, LSD-J was also a resident from 2011 to 2013 at The Reserve in Cape Town. During the three years that the club operated, it too became one “World’s Finest Clubs”. As a resident at Shimmy Beach Club, one of Cape Town's most visited clubs and beach bars, LSD-J kept the crowds dancing on weekends with everything from Chilled House music to EDM.

In 2013 LSD-J held a Summer Residency at G Club in Abu Dhabi for 3 Months before returning to South Africa to become resident DJ at the trendy COCO in 2014. COCO is one of South Africa’s most luxurious hotspots for hip hop and house music, owned by Ultra Music festival South Africa curator Shaun Duvet.

LSD-J has performed alongside South African & international artists such as AKA, Da Les, Mafikizolo, DJ Fresh, KO, Cassper Nyovest, DJ Irie, DJ Kayper, Clinton Sparks, Lohrasp Kansara, DJ MAGNUM & More

LSD-J moved to Hamburg, Germany in September 2016 and will be bringing his unique South African flair to the European clubs and stages. LSD-J hosts a bi-monthly residency at BernsteinBar & is part of a Hamburg collective of House djs known as WarehouseCrew playing house events at a venue on Reeperbahn. In 2017 he came 3rd in a European wide DJ comp held by MusticStore Cologne.
