Low-Down Slim - Blues Sessions - Volume 61: Rock Me Baby (full vinyl DJ set, 78 minutes)

I recorded this vinyl only DJ set (78 minutes) at home. For this sixty-first volume of my Blues Sessions I’ve selected 25 tracks by 25 different bluesmen who don’t fit into my Chicago and Louisiana blues specials. You can expect downhome delta blues, hard hitting urban blues (the Cousin Leroy track is among my all-time favorites, a force of nature!) and many things in between from the 1950’s up until the 1980’s. A few of the featured bluesmen make their debut in my Blues Sessions, Guitar Crusher (what a name!) is one of them. Bobby Rush is another, I was lucky enough to see him perform in New Orleans in 2023.

I'll be posting vinyl DJ set recordings. I mainly collect blues, country, rhythm and blues, zydeco, rock 'n roll, rockabilly, funk and soul records.
