I recorded this vinyl only DJ set (79 minutes) at home. This fifty-eighth volume of my Blues Sessions is the eleventh Louisiana Blues special. I’ve selected 25 tracks by 25 different Louisiana blues(wo)men. This set contains some of my favorite Louisiana blues, rhythm and blues, New Orleans blues and swamp pop (and some things in between) tracks from the 1950’s up until the 1980’s. You can expect some deep down tempo heavy hitters at the start and some mid and up tempo rockers towards the end.
