Dj Lickweed is a Hip Hop/DnB/Breaks/Glitch Hop DJ originally from Israel and now based out of Melbourne, Australia and represents Adapted Records and Twisted Audio.

First started DJing in 2003 and was mainly involved in the Hip-Hop / Turntabilisim scene back in Israel.
In 2004 he was first exposed to the underground DnB & Breakbeat scene and fell in love with the sound, vibe and the world that is Broken Beat.

Lickweed has played alongside numerous artists such as Andy C, Stanton Warriors, A Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Opiuo, DJ Marky, Scratch Perverts, Excision, Mampi Swift, Camo & Krooked, Noisia, Koan Sound, Black Sun Empire, Kenny Ken, Aphrodite, Cyantific and many more.

In 2014 Lickweed became the official Label DJ for Adapted Records and has featured on a compilation earlier that year and is now working on more tracks with several of the Adapted artists and others.
Lickweed recently returned from a North American tour alongside Schwarr from Adapted Records where they played a string of festivals and club shows.

2015 sees Lickweed’s first tour in New Zealand, first set in Boomtown festival in the UK and first appearance and the world famous Rainbow Serpent festival!

Expect bass heavy banging tunes, fast mixing sprinkled with some beat juggling and scratching skills when this bad-boy jumps on the wheels of steel.
