It has become, without a doubt, my favorite album of the year, because it captures everything I love about music. It blends Westcoast vibes, Smooth Soul, Slow Funk, and Urban Disco, all wrapped in a refined, understated production. Every track stands apart, and all eight songs are melodically irresistible
Ethel is more than a singer-songwriter, she’s also a performer and arranger, a true melodist of a kind we rarely see these days. She’s absorbed the deepest roots of this music we cherish so much, and I couldn’t be prouder to see her now stepping into the spotlight, showing everyone the great artist she truly is.
