Obasquiat And Dancing Deadlips In Free Sonic Explorations - The Mindness

The mysterious artistic troupe of variation and improvisation from Brazil, Obasquiat and Polish experimental vocalist/performer Dancing Deadlips team up to present "The Mindness" album to be released via Sunyatha Records, album from which we choose the title track to première today in advance of the official release for tomorrow. The collaborative project, "Obasquiat and Dancing Deadlips in Free Sonic Explorations", like the name clearly expresses is the continuous spiral path around vital and necessary deconstruction of formats, sonorities or even clichés. Deconstruction based on technique improvement till its abandoned in a defying manner.

"The Mindness" track, the wall of sonic rainbow of noise colours like a chaotic sea of consciousness, frequency and amplitude working as a prolonged appendix of the body only intermitted by Dancing Deadlips voice which take us into inner confessions. "What if... was your flesh" as the start of a hypnotic poetic mantra between spoken word and dark lullabies, all encompassed by ethereal drone modulations while the final percussive elements of Free Jazz help us to connect with earth again.
