Argentinian composer, producer and illustrator, LONGCHAMPS can easily adopt chameleonic presence in his works as he can masterly go from Techno to Juke, to Funk to Acid and all in between, always with a fluid and coherent touch like someone that meticulously applies encyclopedic studies from different cultural origins and musical traditions to his very own signature sound. The new work "Stair", that we present in exclusive today, is around 4 minutes long but it seems like a 4 hour journey that goes beyond temporal and spatial references while pilot the spaceship of modern funk to cross this same definitions and marks with the use of futuristic approach to contemporary synth processes, granting the best of both acid and boogie worlds but this time with powerful basslines, dynamic drum machines and incredible modulations, progressive cut on frequencies or comb filtering. I describe "Stair" as a fast paced acid synth funk at 130 BPMs that takes advantage from the best of conventional sororities and implements innovative hints to craft body and soul's music that keeps surprising us till the end with electro references or what sounds like opera chamber music's ethereal and introspective vocalizations. Lets hope this track gets an extended version one day because it lets a tantalizing effect to ask for more. Get the free download (WAV) courtesy of Longchamps.
