Kim Kate - LTM [Honey Badger Records]

Seoul – London based countergenre musician, producer, audiovisual coder Kim Kate is back to Honey Badger Records following the debut "Orientation" from 2015 and things get a bit sharp this time. The new direction of his sonority became more raw, mechanical yet filled with thrilled suggestions of warm, analog, vintage tones as this premiere of "LTM" clearly shows.

‘Drug Culture’ comprises 3 original works where abbreviated antipsychotic drugs gives name to each track and also makes a clear statement in form of social warning to the dangers of forgetting the discover and healing of the self, letting it to corporative interests and methods. "LTM" illustrates a bleeping affair of industrial-retro wave environment and acid-laden synth communications, shortening the road between contemporary club sophistication and straight classic lo-fi textures.
