DILDAAR

Sleepingdust presents ‘Dildaar’, and proudly introduces debutant Master Kuldeep Rattan who has lent both his voice and his words to this song. Master Kuldeep Rattan lost his eye sight at the tender age of three—despite this huge obstacle, he trained under his uncle Ustaad Shri Amrat Lal, who nurtured him and taught him the art of music. It is his belief that has resulted in Kuldeep becoming one of the finest harmonium players and singers. Sleepingdust salutes his perseverance, determination, and unbreakable spirit.

Kuldeep has penned this song inspired by the vague memory of his father, Late Shri Sarna Ram, humming this in his childhood. He has emoted through the lyrics the tornado of emotions one experiences in the throes of grief, which causes one to search and blindly seek lost loved ones.

The poignant narrative of the song is complemented by the authentic composition by the talented Manjinder Heer. He is currently pursuing a degree in music to strengthen his abilities and produce music that is refreshing and innovative, which we believe will give a new dimension to current Punjabi musical scene.

Sleepingdust hope that ‘Dildaar’ and its talented team are both embraced with open arms by our audience.
