My father was a singer and introduced me to ALL STYLES of music from the womb...Judy Garland,Nat King Cole,jazz,blues,guitar,Big bands...my influences include Bessie Smith,Blind Lemon Jefferson,Janis Joplin,THE ROLLING STONES,JOHN LENNON,Etta James,Luciano Pavarotti,Eva Cassidy,Evanescence,Karen Carpenter,Cleo Laine,BARBRA STREISAND,Silvie Paladino..ALL great guitarists from Les Paul to Hendrix...I am a HUGE APPRECIATOR of music - classical,jazz,blues,folk,pop,rock,grunge,goth..I play a 12 string Ovation Elite circa 1985 - before the necks went peculiar,Maton classical 1972,Cole Clarke Fat Lady,Cole Clarke Angel,Gibson Heritage acoustic,Gibson Rd Artists bass....I also play percussion and harmonica and LOVE to 'doodle' on the piano!!I write poetry and lyrics,prose and music - my soul,my spirit and the spirits of those around me are inextriccably enmeshed and entwined in my creative processes and my performances.I have never had a singing lesson except from my father,who passed on to me the rudiments of BREATHING - I think it works for me and I tell others about it!!My songs are attached to parts of my being and those who I interact with - physically and/or spiritually.I believe we all survive physical "death" and are part of the ENERGY and LIGHT and unconditional LOVE.The point of power is the present moment and it is ALWAYS the present moment.I am therefore I think....AND if you've taken this time to read this far,you RE in the present moment!!! HA!HA! I am also an animal activist,love elderly people,work with folk who have cancer,stay in constant touch with people I can see and who I SEE....I love my dog - and yours - enjoy the music:))XOXOX
