Although King MAS is already known as a musical warrior in terms of roots and culture, he is quickly becoming one of the most beloved lovers rock performers of this new reggae generation. "Rain Ah Fall" (previously released on his R.A.S. 2.0 Mixtape in 2011) was written on a rainy evening in Ocho Rios at Freddie Cougar's "Drop Di Bass" record studio. "I was there parring with DJ Camran, PZed, Hero and the crew" says Mas. "There was a gentle rain falling outside as a version was being played for one of the artist to voice. Silently, I was putting together a tune in the midst of the excitement". About a year later, King MAS would return to Jamaica with his original riddim composition to compliment the tune and went straight to his favorite bands man on the island, Jallanzo and the Dubtonic Kru. "It just felt right from the first note" Mas recalls. "Jubba recorded first and from the intro I knew the riddim was going to be special". "Rain ah Fall" is a lovers rock masterpiece with a very Jazz/RnB influenced feel from the masterful guitar work of Jallanzo (affectionately called "Yellow") to Luke's smooth piano riffs. This tune is the epitome of the modern reggae ballad from start to finish with the perfect level of musicality to entertain and set the mood when the "Rain Ah Fall"..
