Kavinda was born and raised in Sri Lanka. He moved to Australia in year 2000 and developed his skills collaborating with many Artists. He started as a Hip Hop DJ and known for his live remixes, RnB, Reggae and Dancehall styles.

With his passion for Djing he spread his talents through out Newcastle and Melbourne hot spots and now continues to evolve Electronic Dance music with his complexity and depth.

Kavinda has been a regular fixture in Melbourne nightlife/Club scene bringing great crowd appreciation and feedback. Being in the industry for over 20 years he has shared the stage with well- known local and international artists.

He is one of the staples when throwing around names in the Dj scene and this year looks to be busy year for Kavinda producing handful of tracks on upcoming projects and gigs in Australia and overseas.
