September to me defines a transitional period where the summer suddenly realizes that it's time with us is quickly ending.
It is always a sudden change here in California, sweating during the day yet wearing a jacket at night.
This quick and sudden transition between temperatures as it cools off into Autumn reminds me of how closely sorrow and retrospection can sit sometimes.
September has generally carved it's definition in our heads by the ways of the tragic events back in 2001, but even in those most trying times, we as humans found a way to make adversity beautiful.
People came together and fought through the insurmountable grief and rebuilt even taller.
This mix is dedicated to anyone who has ever been affected by sorrow.
Slightly slower and retrospective, this is a tribute to the heavy emotional connotations that align themselves with this particular month.
The sun rises once again, embrace it.
