Widely known to many as Kaleido, Lekoko Innocent Chego is a Sound Engineering graduate, club dj and a house music producer.
In 2004, he started a sound hiring company together with his college mate and it was widely known as Spinna Boyz Entertainment. Making waves in the dusty streets of Soweto, they played at stovels, birthday parties and wedding celebrations to mention a few, just to get their brand to be top of mind when it came to djs and entertainment in and around Soweto..
No stranger to the airwaves and the broadcasting industry, Kaleido worked as a Technical Producer at SABC’s Ikwekwezi fm. His hard work and determination resulted in great success, as he got to showcase some of his sets on a few Friday night features, which later landed him a musical sponsorship from the legendary dj Mbuso from Phezulu Records to use in his radio slot on Friday nights. He later left SABC and joined Phezulu Records as a Salesman in their record store, where he got to learn about the ins and outs of the music and entertainment industry.
He is inspired by DJ Christos and Vinny Da Vinci, however he looks up to the outstanding DJ Kent and China.
In 2013, he joined the DeepForest SA Record label. Kaledio is known for heating up the dance floors with acoustic sounds of deep house and dance music. His perseverance landed him the opportunity to fulfil his love for travelling with some of his mates from the Deep Forest SA stable to get the recognition it deserves by promoting and getting the brand out there and connecting with their fans.
