A dedicated Dj that is new to the production game.

He digs deeper than most to find new sounds from record stored across the UK and Berlin.

His first gig was at local strip joints for around six to eight months at the age of 15 back in 1993. It was here he was noticed by a nightclub owner for being very clean in the mix with multi genres.

He was then invited to play at oZ, A Blackpool/North West landmark for the club scene.
Here he had the privilege to get away from the multi genre of strip clubs and was able to play what he loved, House and Breakbeat.

Gaining a strong reputation locally for warming up the crowds, he received bookings throughout Blackpool and surrounding areas at underground sounds venues.

Russ took ten years away from DJing due to his career, however he turned his Technics back on in 2008, instantly forming a DJ crew known as BeatFreekz, consisting of both mixing and turntablist DJ’s. They played at many of festivals and clubs nationwide. He left the crew in 2012 and is now solo. Since being solo he has played at many of radio stations, festivals and Ibiza.

2015 was a fresh start for him after numerous travels to Berlin, he fell in love with Techno after visiting the infamous Berghain and Tresor venues.
This lead him on to starting his own events in Blackpool going by the name Achtung! (The Morse Code)

He is solely a DJ and constantly looking for new gigs to express his very unique style of mixing.
