Bon Voyage Warm Up at Mother Mix

I had the immense honour to warm up for my spiritual brothers Bon Voyage a few years back at Mother Club, Dublin. I have been a fan from the get go and it was a true delight to be asked to step up and get the proceedings going, in the very club that saw my first gigs on this blessed isle many moons ago (although way back then it was known as Switch - and the Foot Fetish night run by the legendary Tonie Walsh). Mother has such a great name for itself seeing the likes of Ruth Kavanagh, Rocky T. Delgado, Ghostboy (or Phil Boyle as he is sometimes known) and KA Byrne grace the decks regularly so I tried to honour not only them and the good name of the night, but also the amazing crowd whilst fully reppin' my boys Arveene and Shamon Cassette a.k.a. the dons that are BON VOYAGE. Good vibes only! :)

It's not perfect, but it hopefully encapsulates all that is Mother, the vibe, the fun, the party vibe, the inclusiveness that it nurtures. And the all encompasing love that permeates everything they transmit. Hope you enjoy...play it loud...play it proud! :D xx
