Naturally gifted with a musical ear, Johnathan AKA Mr.Johnny Beats flirted with the music scene, keeping his love for dance music wide open through his feet for the first many years.
But when 2010 crept on him, Johnny started to realize the love he had was not so much for the movement on the floor anymore but for the art of mashing/blending/mixing and of course sharing alike feelings with each member dancing in front of him.
 From his first gigs in the small town of Medicine Hat Alberta, leading him through British Columbia, and eventually all the way to Prince Edward Island, where Johnny was able to give back to the ones who brought him into such an alive scene along the way sharing stages with Big Names such as Stickybuds/Defunk/Funkanomics to name a few and having the opportunity to play festivals such as Astral Harvest(BC), Funkin the Forks(Alberta), Peace East(N.S), Mount Funky(N.S), and last year being the first year at Backwoods Beats(Cape Breton) 
Along the path however Johnny has also endeared many struggles, with having a sever case of Crohn’s disease it hasn’t always been easy for him to stay connected and stay in the loop.However joining onto street teams with Breakbeat Paradise and BigFatMammaBeats(UK),Nipponeer Records(Budapest),MustBeatRecords(Budapest) has given him the push to get back on his feet. Keep the music flowing.
Its 2019 and Johnny Beats is opening his world up to many new things this year. He’s one artist you’ll want to keep your eyes on. Hell be moving the crowd “one beat at a time”
