Now a little about me....
I've been mixing and doing gigs since my early teen years using mismatched turntables. I bought my REAL turntables, classic Technics 1200s while in Canarsie High School. While at Baruch College, after studying marketing, sales, accounting & finance by day, I concurrently taught myself how to beat mix disco, dance music, freestyle & house music by night. During my senior year of college, I landed the much coveted position of resident DJ at one of Long Island's hottest nightclubs, called Jamz (also know as Fokkus) in West Hempstead, where 1200 18-23 year olds danced all night long. For ten straight years, I was DJ'ing regularly in clubs from NYC to Long Island until my daughter was born, mixing two-three nights a week till 4am classic disco, freestyle, funk, old-skool hip hop and house music. My other main clubs were the L.I. Exchange and Polyesters. I did shorter stints at Coco's, Buttles, Zachary's, Metro 700, Uncle Sam's and Cafe Society. During the Summers of 2011 & 2012, I was the exclusive promoter and DJ of the Summer Series "Wednesday Night Fever, Where It's Never Later Than 1989" at the Allegria Hotel on the ocean in Long Beach, NY.
Since the Summer of 2012 through 2015, I've spun at Aura, Zachary's & Pop's
