Jay Funk has been rocking events and tearing down walls since peanut butter met jelly. Representing Chicago all over the US and abroad, he's more than your average DJ - he's a performer - creating his own sound, remixing live and creating a unique mix that seems to come naturally and organically.

JayFunk showcases every weekend on the #1 station in Chicago, WKSC 103.5 Kiss FM, and was formally heard on 94.5 the Vibe in Las Vegas and Dallas, TX. To add to that, he is always traveling and performing events in New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Honolulu, Manila and Los Angles, CA just to name a few. In 2013, he became one of 4 Concourse DJ's for his favorite sports team, the CHICAGO BULLS! In just one year, he was promoted to 2014 CHICAGO BULLS IN GAME/MUSIC CORDINATOR, handling duties of pregame/halftime/time outs come game time!

Never one to stick to one style of music, his ability to mix everything and anything from house music to rock/new wave/hip-hop/top 40/classic soul and dance when performing, keeps the audience guessing and opens people’s minds to different and fun music.

Over the years, Jay Funk has played along side some of the finest DJ talents and has opened for legendary acts such as The B-52’s, Rob Base and DJ Easy Roc, Young MC, legendary new wave group Anything Box, actor/producer/Grammy winner DJ Jazzy Jeff and was the choice DJ for Snoop Dogg’s 2000 Birthday Bash in Chicago and for the premier of the huge 2008 hit movie, Sex In The City pre-party at the John Hancock Observatory. JayFunk has also been nominated for Midwest DJ of the Year 5 years in a row by major music affiliate Sinternet.com!

Jay Funk's wide range of styles along with adapting to industry trends, allows him to stay a cut above the rest. He has been called the “Mr. President” of Chicago or better yet, Chicago’s favorite DJ. J-A-Y FUNK!!
