This one goes out to a good friend and mentor Bruce Maurice Tankson aka DJ Bruce Tankson born November 3, 1967 Chicago IL and left this earth too soon May 1st of 2023 St Paul Minnesota. Bruce Tankson was one of three DJs who taught me how to spin on the wheels of steel growing up in Chicago's Northside during the 1980s. Bruce was very influential in introducing me to Italo Disco & House Music which were both very popular genres in Chicago's DJ scene of the early 1980s... Bruce Tankson taught me how to blend more professional by using my ear, working the tempo slide on my Technics 1200 MK2 and he taught me how to use bpm for building speed cordination! DJ Bruce Tankson was also a very talented Fashion Designer who was the CEO of BMauri Dzingz. Bruce Tankson taught many how to DJ during the early 80s and DJ Crate Bug is one of his most famous students who to this very day is spinning in clubs all around Chicago and the United States. in this Tribute Mix To DJ Bruce Tankson you will hear all of the dance genres that he spinned at clubs, basement & block parties, DJ battles ( Which he won many of them...), and radio appearences. these dance genres will encompass the 70,s 80s, 90,s and 2000s. brother Bruce Tankson you were not only a great inspiration to me and many others. but you will be worshiped forever by me and many other DJs in the city of Chicago as a DJ God.
