Sounds of Innocent Mshikilane

Margate, 4275, South Africa

MY PRIORITY

MUSIC, an art form and tradition found in every culture on Earth, has been around even before we had organised language. Our brains start responding to sound when we're still in the womb, between 16-18 weeks.

A newborn's hearing develops faster than any other sense, and they can even tune out specific sounds. This shows that WE HUMANS HAVE A NATURAL LIKING OF MUSIC, with some parts of our brain giving priority to responses triggered by sound.

For years reseachers have been studying the link between sound and the human brain to understand why certain sounds can affect our MOOD, PHYSICAL FEELINGS or even our MEMORY.

Listening to music activates the same pleasure centres in the brain as 'EATING FAV. FOOD, EXCERSISING, or HAVING SEX'.

The Journey Begins.
