Shawry

From a young age surrounded by diverse musical influences inspiration wasn't hard to find. Throughout the years experimenting with all types of musical instruments and sounds it wasn't long before Shawry found the need to make his own imprint on his local music scene.

Starting out in 2012 Shawry introduced Habit to his home town of Stoke on Trent, A house and techno night that isn't afraid to push the boundaries of conventional DJ's and performers. Playing alongside like minded individuals and some of the greatest names to grace the covers of magazines. With an open platform for creatives to showcase their talent it was inevitable that Habit was to become a sure fire hit with the people of Staffordshire and confirm its place as one of the greatest parties in the Midlands (uk) Scene.

Growing with Habit and wanting a more diverse clientèle, Shawry then went on to bring Habit's spin off night 'The Disco Kitchen' also with huge success. Staking his claim in Deep, House, Tech and Indie Dance /Nu Disco scenes. With a drive to succeed it hasn't taken long for Shawry's name to be cropping up regularly with party goers.

Shawry's ear for sounds that your typical DJ's miss, he has a unique way of crafting together his sets playing unconventional tracks and edits that aren't the obvious choices for most.

In 2014 Habit graced the pages of DJ magazine and since then Shawry has gone on to release the first of his own productions with hundreds of plays throughout social media and even seeing his first track 'Triggerfingers' played out on BBC Radio for BBC Introducing.

Since then his Second release 'Changed' has been signed to Kolombo and Loulou players record label Loulou records....

Moving on to play sell-out gigs at household name events and venues, its safe to say you're gonna be hearing a lot more of Shawry.
