1) Tell us about yourself [Stephen Housego]…..
Runs OTMR. SInce about 14 been into "dance music" since attending underage night in dunfermline (thanks martin). got into production first then DJing later. First proper release was my own white label sold out the boot of car to record shops in glasgow and edinburgh around 2000. Ranked in the top 20 jackin producers by Traxsource in 2017.

2) How did you get into music and DJing?
At uni in Stirling i got deeper into the music, went out a lot to nights in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Memerable nights from that era have included Cox at the arches, Harry and Dom at the subby, Paul Trouble Anderson at the Honeycomb. Used to bug my friend alot to practice on his decks untill i finally got my own set ad then started collecting records. Production followed alongside using computers, only recently have i been able to afford hardware and I use a yamaha desk and tr8 drum machine among other things when producing tracks.

3) Who/what are your favourite DJs/producers/labels?
fave producers/ djs in no partucular order who have influenced and inspired me. Carl Cox, Derrick Carter, DJ Heather, Mark Farina, Sneak, Steve Reich, Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, Rudy Van Geller, Tommy Largo, Chris Simmonds, Phil Weeks, Hector Moralez, Josh Moog, Todd Terry, Harry Romero, Goldie, RZA, Paul Johnson, Moodymann, Kerri Chandler, Francois K, CZR, Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Daft Punk, Dave Angel, Ian Pooley, Bob James, Creed Taylor, Chuck Daniels, Arturo Garces, Filta Freqz, Armand, DJ Q, Cassius, Basement Phil, Scott Brown...

4) Tell us about your mix…..
This mix is a collection recent downloads, unreleased tracks and a couple of faves, no planning just did it. 2xCDJ900 and DJM Nexus900

5) What are your future plans?
Plans are to keep pushing the label [One Track Minds], keep promoting the tracks and the artists and perhaps do an event bringing together a few OTMR artists from abroad to play together.
