It's been a while since I delved back into my favorite genre so this time round I wanted to throw together some of my all time favorite weapons, and tried and true dancefloor destroyers. Here's a mix of the tracks that were/are the soundtrack to my inception into house and the dance scene as a whole. Very tribal and progressive while vocal and melodic. The majority of these tunes are 10-15 years old now but they're fresher and more relevant than all the "deep/nu disco/Indie/blah blah" rubbish being bandied about in recent years.
There are tracks from some of the most influential underground djs and producers to ever be in the game on this one, such as Danny Tenaglia, Chab, Chus & Ceballos, David Penn, Soul Mekanik, PMT, Envy, Lexicon Ave and many more. It will definitely speak to the older heads but hopefully some younger listeners will cotton on to something they dig and find a new path amongst the plethora of house subgenres available these days.
Hope you enjoy a trip back into the underground with me!
