Hey party peoples and vibe imbibers! Managed to get my first mix while living in Auckland sussed last weekend, just in time for the long hot days and balmy nights of xmas, new years and summer! This one's got bits and pieces of everything I love about dance music, starting out slow and chilled with Makam then picking up the pace and getting lost in some big tribal prog and spacious techno care of Circus Night and Nicole Moudaber, before coming back down to earth with one of my all time favorite vocal house tunes, Mooncat & Ferank's 'Hear What Was Said'. As is always the case when I put together one of these mixes, there are both fresh cuts and obscurities spliced with old school throwbacks to the sound that turned me onto dance in all it's forms. I hope this mix finds it's way into your BBQ's and xmas parties. Have a rad summer!!
