This is a live recording of a 2hr ambient set for Ambient Audiences from the art installation by Jacqueline Donachie.

The mix starts off with some soothing drone, moving into ambient/dark ambient and finishing off with electronic tracks that mostly have no drum machines.

On the technical side, I put a lot of preparation and practice into the mix. I’m using about 90% vinyl and rest digital. The majority of the mix is mixed in key and I used a computer to key the vinyl beforehand.
