Inspired by: Winter 2014, my first Chicago winter.

This is either the first or second song I wrote after moving to Chicago (the other being "Since We Last Spoke"). I had this song forever, and really loved the beat and the verses, but had no idea what to do for the hook. I sang scratch vocals that was kind of Pharrell/NERD influenced, but they didn't really match the vibe of the rest of the song. I had a friend sing those lyrics, but they didn't really work out with the track. Like two years after recording the song, I reached out to fellow HOIST artist Sports Boyfriend (who is amazing, seriously check out her Soundcloud), and she totally saved this song.
