Ben Ngwanamadima Mapheto Aka GoDsOuL grew up in Seleten Ga-Mphahlele where his uncle Reggie Lekgau introduced him to Soulful house and Deep house at an early age. He then fell in love with the two genres and has forever been obsessed. He later was introduced to deejaying as a hobby. Loving the art of deejaying he took it up as an amateur. In 2009 he left his childhood home to study further in johannesburg where he met Banza and Maila Praise also known as MaBoss, they took him under thier wings and mentored him as he picked up skills and confidence that allowed him to be a resident deejay at Mariston hotel. the underground scene noticed him from there on and his been there ever since learning and growing as a deejay sharing decks with the likes of Trancemicsoul,Vinny Da Vinci,Da Capo,Ralf Gum,Christos,Tshipi,­­Scotch Flavio & Masta Deep just to name a few. Godsoul is a member of various underground deep sound groups, some of which he is a co-founder such as his latest with masta deep called Deep Shandis.
