Shame on ABC records that there was only a 3.31 min. album/single version ever released on the spreading love album(no wonder they went belly up) , and even that one is impossible to get these days. the edit is done from a barely acceptable vinyl rip original. this is such an irresistible gem i had to expand it to proper 12" length and feel.
This is very close to the Fatback/Bohannon kind of groove too...
