Chuck Knowles

Started Djing at the age of 15 years old
Started in R.I. at the Fife & Drum and Mirabar in downtown Providence when I was just 15 years old... I kept it hush on my age, but the drinking age was 18 and I was a big boy so they assumed that I was old enough...
By the time I was 18, I owned a Disc Jockey Service which I sold in 1983.
Then I moved to New Hampshire that year
Started playing at Nightclubs in North Conway N.H. at Micheal’s & Crawdad’s, when I got noticed by the owner’s of Metro (a Nightclub in Boston on Lansdowne Street)
became a regular there and started doing sets on Kiss 108 FM Boston (Back then, a Great Dance Radio station)
Then decided to move to the Carribean (US Virgin Islands) 1988
Started playing clubs like Club Nu, and the Boom Boom Room and became a regular guest at Crash Bar in Puerto Rico till 1991
Moved to South Beach, Miami 1991
Miami had a Huge House Music Movement going on!! Started spinning all over South Beach from Twist to Hombre, West End, Kremlin, Blue, The Palace Bar(still a Resident at The Palace 17 years and counting), etc...
IN 1998 I STARTED SPINNING AT THE LAUNDRY BAR
I was at the Laundry Bar for 10 years Hosting and DJing a Bunch of Award Winning weekly Parties with an average of 1000 people consistently for the “Spin Cycle” party alone ...but as you know, .
All Good things will come to an end...
MOVED TO FORT LAUDERDALE 2008
When the Laundry Bar closed I moved to Fort Lauderdale to be with my Partner... I started spinning T-Dances for the Royal Palm Resort with a consistent 500 to 600 people...
Also began residencies for Georgie’s Alibi and Infinity Lounge and Bill’s Filling Station. Beach Bear Weekend 2013, and 2014
In November of 2014, Became a Resident for the nightclub, Hunters, with a weekly dance party called "Haus Saturdays"! Will fill in more as Love and Music continues to fill my life!
