*Where do you pull most of your inspiration from?
The backbone of my musical education.
I lived in the late 80s in two subcultures: Punk with the no Future DiY mentality, and Acid, first clubs, future sound and new drugs. And I got techno from the beginnin.
But before also the heyday of disco music, between 1976 and '79, it was shaped by my big sister, who changed to Wave and EBM later, at the beginning of the 80s, and although I was a minor, dragged me along to youthclubs. There I had to stay in the DJ box while she was dancing and so on.That's how I got in touch with DJs early. Later I also got in contact with producers of Wave/Elektro stuff, early Acid-House stuff and Detroit stuff, which I'm less interested in at first. Too lame...
The luck was that in my hometown the Raveline came out and also clubs opened, finally even people from Berlin came to us (Jürgen Laarman/Tanith etc. Frontline editor) and Amsterdam/Rotterdam was not far away with the first scooters.
I have to shorten this text , so first stop here.**
