...is the motto of my guests today.
And with that, welcome to ESOA podcast edition number 34.
Yes, as you can hear, there are two guests this time, actually there would have been three. But the third person is letting these two gentlemen take the lead for now and will honour us as an absolute Chemnitz veteran at some point in the future.
It's our House" is the name of a small but fine party series, but it also clearly describes the sound they come up with today.
Behind them are "Chris Wayfarer" and "MMC#PHONatix".
The sound of their b2b set takes us on a wonderful journey, deep and jazzy.
One of them, "Chris Wayfarer", used to come from the Drum&Bass area, but has been moving more into the Deep House, Electronica and Tech House realms for a few years now. He says himself that he never ignores the impulse for floating with love for detail. It has to be jazzy, funky and grooving and always make people happy.
His own label is Wayfarer Audio, his latest release "Sverige" was released in March.
The other "MMC#PHONatix", Holger or "Mix Master Cooky", sees himself as a pioneer in house music for a deep and relaxed style with jazzy influences. He has been doing this since 92, making him one of the first house DJs in the Chemnitz club scene.
