We are very stocked about our next Techno Minded Hero. This alias emerged together with his label Gnosis Records in 2012. On which he explore's the deepness and melodic side of techno. His pure crafted work has lead to massive support from great heroes like Zadig, DVS1 and Rodhad. And also he has released on Bas Mooy’s imprint Audio Assault, CLR, Kanzleramt and others.

His hypnotic drive caught our attention and his style seems effortless. With already such a great walked path he has an even more greater future ahead of him.

Operator is the alias of UK Techno artist Rich Jones, who has appeared on Soma, CLR, Kanzleramt, Audio Assault and Singular, amongst others.

Operator was born in 2012 to allow Rich the freedom to make the purist techno he loved best - raw, hypnotic, tribal and percussive, with melodic flourishes and deep, atmospheric textures, utilising an ever evolving hybrid analog/digital setup.

Operator cuts have been enjoyed and spun regularly by many of Techno's leading lights over the years (Zenker Brothers, Shifted, James Ruskin, Zadig, Ben Klock, Rodhad, Drumcell, DVS1 etc) and Rich's artistic success has led him to play some renowned international venues (Tresor, Forsage, Cable) as well as having his music licensed to a recent Fabric Mix CD.

Alongside his near 20 year long love affair with DJing and electronic music, and extensive studio work, Rich also runs Gnosis Records (vinyl & digital), where he has released 2 successful original EP's as Operator, and a various artist EP. Gnosis Records will be returning soon with all new releases from Rich as Operator, and various other artists.

And with EP's incoming on Zadig's Construct Reform and Marcelus' Singular, an ongoing collaboration with Radial, and a remix for US based From 0-1 in the pipeline, the future is looking bright for Operator...
