Metamorphosis

The word "metamorphosis" derives from Greek: μετα- (meta-), "change" and μορφή (morphe), "form".

The year 2014 draws to a close. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions, an abundance of experiences and for sure one of the best years of my life.

I've never learned so much about me and my beliefs than in the past 12 months. Music has always been my companion and since there was one track that followed me since the beginning of my adventure it feels natural for me to open this set with the amazing voice of Apparat (from Moderat).

This mixtape is supposed to take you on a journey. Light-fooded, positive and fully motivated it steps down the rabbit hole towards the new and the unknown.

All the new impressions and circumstances I've been confronted this year changed me and also influenced my selection and approach to the music I love and play in my DJ Sets. I hope you can find as much dedication, happiness and joy with this mix as I had while selecting and arranging it to close out the year and to be prepared for all the new and exciting things that will await me in 2015.
